Hey there!
I'm Morgan, a recent graduate from Iowa State University with with a BFA in Graphic Design. I'm happy to tell you about myself! During the past 4 years at Iowa State University, unlimited creativity and inspiration have led me to some pretty amazing opportunities.
Throughout my time designing, I have worked as a Graphic Design Intern for Hy-Vee, where I worked closely with the graphic design, marketing and communications teams. I have also worked for the Des Moines Arts Festival as a Graphic Design Intern focusing on building the festival from the ground up. When I wasn't studying during the school year, I interned with Iowa State Center - Stephens Auditorium creating web, print advertisements and event programs.
During my time at Iowa State, I was a co-leader of the 2020 ISUGD Senior Show committee, where I organized the senior capstone website and webinar and created the branding for the event. I was also a part of the Art Committee for the The Fashion Show 2019 and 2020, which is the largest student-run fashion show in the nation! I was also lucky to participate in a New York City field-study and summer study-abroad program that took me to Germany, the Netherlands, and the Czech Republic. On the trip, we learned about the design and culture of these countries. It opened my eyes to a new way to design.
Design is my favorite form of communication! I love to focus on branding, typography and logo design but I am eager to solve any problem when it comes to design. I am very focused on learning and am always striving to become a better designer.
