Project Brief:
Every year the Iowa State University Graphic Design senior class puts on an event to showcase their senior projects. A team of students come together to build this event from the ground up including fundraising, promotion, branding, and event planning. Although this year we were met with the Covid-19 pandemic, we had to restructure the event from and in-person show to an online format thus paving the reinvention of the ISU Graphic Design Senior Show.
Project Solution:
Frontier: On the Edge of Something Great represents the vast opportunities and changes that the 2020 class are facing. Due to Covid-19 the senior class had to adapt to the unknown. The Senior Show Design Committee overcame the obstacle of planning for an in-person show to an online conference and website showcasing every individual student. The contemporary and modular theme celebrates these students and allowed them the chance to get involved. By giving them a 20x20 grid, they were able to create a piece of the modular system that represented their senior project.
Branding in collaboration with Brandon Johnson.
